Llanes is capital of the council of the same name and it is in the Eastern end of the Principality of Asturias. This villa of marine tradition, is declared as municipality of tourist excellence from 1995 and has among other enchantments, a nourished group of historical buildings, that have been worth him to their urban helmet the denomination of historical-artistic set. In the center of Llanes are exponents of diverse architectonic invoices, the medieval walls along with the Tower (present Office of Tourism), the gothic basilica, and the diverse palaces and palacetes that from medieoevo is crossing all the styles to arriving at the Indiana architecture. The council of Llanes limits with other seven Asturian councils. By its proximity, they become inexcusable visit for the traveller who crosses this zone of the Cantabrian cornice.
